Escapee
Escapee
Oil on canvas 25 x 20 cm
A figure lifts its head above a web of lines: structures of conditioned thought built up over years of ideas, habits, and beliefs. The Escapee captures the moment of looking beyond all that, a tentative glimpse into what might exist outside the familiar patterns of thinking.

Escapee
Each painting carries its own journey - here’s a glimpse of how this piece unfolded.
This canvas began with a printed floral pattern taken from Berlin wallpaper, laid down in blue. It’s interesting how nature appears here only as a trace, gathered within an urban setting. The network of lines represents the structures of the mind, the conditioning that shapes how we see. The figure peers out through a small opening, curious about what lies beyond the habitual. The vortex, that’s another story.
