This piece was developed from drawings made while studying old botanical illustrations in Berlin. The central blue shape is an abstracted plant form that stayed in my sketchbooks for years before reappearing here. Three flat flower forms sit within the composition, giving it a sense of structure rather than decoration.

We’re working with the excellent Framing Centre on Ann Street, Limerick. When the exhibition closes on 27th October, we’ll bring your painting directly to them for framing.
You can either visit the Framing Centre in person to discuss your preferences, or we can select a frame on your behalf.
Once your purchase is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and we’ll be in touch within 24 hours to arrange framing and delivery details.

Payment is made in full through the online shop. Once your purchase is complete, the artwork is marked as sold and reserved exclusively for you. You will receive an order confirmation by email with full details of your purchase.

Each painting carries its own journey - here’s a glimpse of how this piece unfolded.
This silkscreen uses the same wallpaper pattern as Snake on Pink with Mountains, printed here in grey. It was started in Italy and later finished in Ireland. The flowers came from sketches made years earlier, while the blue form at the centre evolved from time spent studying botanical illustrations in Berlin. These shapes often live in my sketchbooks for years before they reappear in paintings, sometimes almost by instinct.
